Gunnar Manufacturing Inc. was established in 1979 as a privately held corporation, which specializes in the manufacturing of quality furnishings for the office environment. The company has grown from a manufacturer of sound hoods in the late 70’s and early 80’s to become one of the dominant manufacturers of office furnishings in Calgary and in Western Canada. Located in the Douglasdale Business Park in southeast Calgary, Gunnar Manufacturing Inc. occupies over 130,000 square feet of production space and working showroom. We have also recently added a showroom and stocking warehouse to Ft. McMurray, Alberta – the largest construction site in the world. Continuous quality improvements introduced in the production area, resulted in extensive equipment and machinery upgrades. Over the past few years, Gunnar has acquired several pieces of CNC production equipment. This equipment acquisition, coupled with our state of the art new manufacturing facility, has greatly enhanced Gunnar’s reputation as a high quality “customized assembly line” office furniture manufacturer.
